Since 2012 Ben has made several appearances on ABC Radio Central Victoria, with Fiona Parker.
His first interview discussed Ben’s memoir A Cut Closer to Whole, an “honest and brave book” which chronicles his journey to become the man he is today.
Through his fifteen years living as a trans man, Ben has become an advocate for trans* and gender diverse people, and has often shared his unique insights and opinions about LGBTIQ+ issues, including 2017’s Same Sex Marriage Postal Vote.
Ben’s interest in public speaking brought him back to ABC Radio in January 2018 to discuss Bendigo Toastmasters Club, with fellow Toastmaster Julie Green.
